   Palaeoanthropology seems rife with colonial racism plastered on to a different epoch. It’s essentially(beyond the hard numbers) a reflection of how hierarchal modern society and H. sapiens are to each other. Beyond that, Pääbo, et al, has always irritated me. He and Erik Trinkaus. This is probably an unpopular opinion but they’re annoying as hell.
